Leprechaun Smoothies

Leprechaun Smoothies

Combine fresh baby spinach, frozen strawberries, fresh berries (your choice) and vanilla soy milk (you can use cows milk) in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

*I didn't use a specific amount of each ingredient. I just kept blending and adding until I had the nice green color and the right consistency. (If you wanted your smoothie a little thicker you can use more frozen fruit or add yogurt. If you want your smoothie a little thinner you could use fresh strawberries instead of frozen.)

 The 2's Class
I had the friends taste the smoothie first...
Lily loved the smoothie!!!

Westin was a little hesitant to try it but he ended up liking it a lot!  (He even asked for seconds)

Campbell and Skylar have green mustaches!!

After everyone tried the smoothie I showed the ingredients...

Lucy thought it was really funny when her finger turned green!
Sawyer decided to try it   :-)

4's Class
Lots of tasting....
Maggie said "It's a little yummy"

Yumm!

Nice mustache Charlie!

The fours class thought the smoothie was green from peas...and Audrey guessed that there were berries in it!

Nice job 3's!

The Toddlers tried the smoothie too!

I was impressed by how well the toddlers did with "big kid" cups!

(sorry the pictures turned out so dark...we were enjoying some natural light in the toddler room)   :-)
 Leona loved her smoothie  :-)

Greta thought it was pretty tasty....

I said "Abe, do you like your smoothie?"  He giggled and told me "Yah!"
