The Grateful Giraffe

This is the yoga book we used this week........ I like it!   :)

Image result for the grateful giraffe

The 3's class was 1st to try this new book

Eagle pose was a little tricky

Here we are swinging our elephant trunks!
Nice job Maggie!    Nice job Hayden!

Here, we are practicing squat pose. This is a great way to work your leg muscles.  :)

This is the part in the book where the horse is kicking its back legs.....

   Hissing like snakes!

   Great cobra pose Annalee!

We are spreading our peacock feathers    :)

We are resting like the sloths. The friends' wanted to "hang on to the tree" just like the sloths did.

4's Class.....................

We decided that the eagle pose was much easier if you cross your arms to give yourself a hug.

The elephants are getting a nice cool drink from the watering hole.    :)

The 4's did really good with squat pose.   They were pretending to be frogs catching bugs!

   Downward Dog pose

High plank pose is a really good workout. I told the kiddos to pretend  they are about to do a push up.

Kai and London did a good job rounding their backs like a cat!

Nice job 4's class   :)

The 2's friends were very excited to try the new yoga book!

All the giraffes are trying to eat leaves.

Now we are standing on one leg just like a flamingo.

Downward dog is always a favorite!
  Great horse kicking friends!!!

Spreading our peacock feathers :)

All the sloths are hanging on to the tree.   :)

I didn't get a chance to do yoga with the nursery and toddlers this week due to staffing.....but they will get a turn with this new book soon  :-)
