Wash and dry a bunch of Kale.
Tear it into bite sized pieces.
Lay the pieces on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper (or tinfoil)
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with a little sea salt
Bake at 350degrees for 10-15 min (edges should be brown, not burnt)

First, I talked about Kale and we passed a few pieces around for everyone to check out.
Next, everyone took turns ripping the Kale into bite sized pieces :)

After nap a few four's friends wanted to try the Kale chips. :)

I was telling the 3's class a few reasons why Kale is good for you. They are really good listeners!

First, I had the class pass around large kale leaves. We talked about how they are green and soft. :)
Everyone was really excited to touch the kale leaves!
Next, it was time to taste the little kale chips :)
Charlie and Harper tried it and didn't like it. I was so proud of them for trying though :)
