It's
a Juice Jubilation!
We've been wishing for some sunny weather here at Joyful Noise, so why not make some sunshiny Jubilation Juice?! Ms. Sally was kind enough to provide us with her special juicing machine from home! I modified a juice recipe that I found, and here are the ingredients:
For a pitcher of Jubilation Juice:
4 apples (Gala or other), cored, unpeeled and quartered
4 Navel 0ranges, peeled and sectioned into quarters
4 or 5 carrots, unpeeled and cut into large pieces
1 or 2 Bartlett pears, cored, unpeeled and quartered
Feed several pieces of the fruit and/or vegetables into the juicer at a time. Continue until all ingredients have been juiced. Enjoy!
The children were so interested in the juicer! I took it apart and showed them all of the inner workings and how it was able to turn a piece of fruit into juice. What little engineering minds we have here at Joyful Noise :) They were very excited to see the juice being extracted, and even more fascinated by the pulp created at the end! The juice tasted fantastic! It was a jubilation!
